The most important decisions to be made in the structural design of a building is to ensure that the final structural solution adopted meets the needs of the brief, the architectural aspirations, as well as being a cost-effective structure. Our structural engineering skills provide cost effective yet robust structural design solutions to produce economic viable solutions to challenging problems. The design process is rigorous from inception to completion with on-going support and feedback.
Our Process | Success is How We Work Together
Our Process | Success is How We Work Together
1. Listen
This is your vision, and we want to get excited about it, so we spend a lot of time with you upfront gaining a deep understanding of your preferences, motivations, needs and game changers. Everything we do will be unique to your project – we do not take shortcuts with predetermined solutions.
2. Plan
Before putting pen to paper, we take all we have learned from you and apply our deep understanding of engineering principles to determine the best options for structural systems for you. We provide you with options and explain the benefits and potential drawbacks of each.
3. Design
This is when our line drawings really begin taking shape and the engineering begins. Layouts and sizes are defined and refined. Details are placed along with finishing touches – all designed from scratch. We work closely with you to make sure you’re happy with the progress.
4. Build
We know how important it is to get a timely response on site issues, so we reply to problems within 24 hours. We review suppliers’ drawings in a week or less, and we pay very close attention to the details so we get it right the first time.
5. Celebrate
We celebrate the journey of what started out as an idea and has now come to life. As much as we love hearing our name called at award ceremonies, what we really want to hear is you saying, “WOW! It’s even better than I envisioned!”
